This is an opportunity for individuals who have or wish to develop experience with digital outreach and advocacy. We wish to build internal systems and progresses to raise awareness through social media about the important work that we do improving nutrition, education and health care in India. We wish to explore additional ways to broaden our appeal and to raise awareness and ultimately donations for our innovative programming. We are an all volunteer organization with no salaried staff.

Do you have the following qualifications:
- Past fundraising and event experience
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Highly-motivated and well-organized
- Grant writing experience

Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally is a registered charity that relieves the effects of poverty and creates new opportunities in South India and for Worldwide Disaster Relief. Locally we share by engaging volunteers and building awareness of the needs and opportunities that people in South India and elsewhere face. We build awareness in local communities throughout the world for our programs and the direct beneficial relief that the programs deliver.

Globally we share by engaging volunteers all over the world in supporting our charitable partners as we carry out nutritional, medical, educational and disaster relief programs that build health, relieve poverty, improve education and create the foundation for social change.

Volunteer Opportunity Address

How will this volunteer opportunity benefit you?
This would be an ideal opportunity for someone interested in digital outreach to develop engagement in the non-profit sector. The position involves real world charitable experience for those wishing to continue to have a hand in the not for profit sector. This is an opportunity for someone to support our direct relief improving nutrition, health and education in India and for Worldwide Refugees.

We are all unpaid volunteers in this small, nimble organization and your work will be from home or your office.

How will the organization benefit?
You will develop and maintain platforms to improve our digital outreach and advocacy to generally reach out broaden our Canadian donor support. The platforms and processes that you develop will be an essential part of our organization going forward and these will be developed on the volunteers time schedule.
