Description

Do you like to cook? Do you have experience making meals for large numbers of people? If so then we have a volunteer opportunity for you!
Volunteer candidates should be 19+ years of age.

Location and time commitment:
Centre 507, dropin (2nd level of Centretown Untied Church).
Wednesdays 9:00am – 11:30am.

The Volunteer, prepares vegetables and cooks one nutritious meal to support our daily snack and soup program. The volunteer will be part of a lively staff and volunteer team. The volunteer reports to the Volunteer coordinator. Standing, some lifting/twisting and washing of dishes required.

Centre 507 is an adult drop-in centre and support service, open to all who seek a safe and friendly environment. Serving Ottawa since 1983, the centre is at 507 Bank Street near the corner of Argyle.
