VO is recruiting and deploying volunteers to respond to the volunteer needs specific to COVID-19 in Ottawa, Prescott-Russell, Lanark County and Renfrew County while ensuring proper screening and training protocals to safeguard the health of those volunteering and those they are assisting. Volunteer Social Media Content Coordinator (FT)
30 hours/week - can work around your own schedule
Qualifications:
• Must have access to a computer.
• Must speak write fluent English.
• Must be currently enrolled in or hold degree/diploma in a post-secondary school.
Responsibilities:
• Act as coordinator for Social Media content provided by staff (both shared and original)
• Be responsive to Social Media interactions
• Pre-schedule content using Hootsuite
• Regularly analyze responses to posts to determine best strategy for content
• Work with PR consultants to ensure consistent messaging
