The Ottawa Valley Chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS-OV) is seeking a volunteer to assist with some office tasks, such as organizing the office, data entry, research, arranging meetings and possibly helping with event planning and delivery. We expect this work to require about one day/week of the volunteer's time. The work would need to be completed from our office in Hull. We will provide a work space, computer and plenty of support!

This is a great way to learn about the environment, especially the conservation of nature and the major opportunity before us in terms of historic commitments to wilderness conservation by the federal government. It will also provide the volunteer with an opportunity to hone their skills and make new contacts.

Comment l'organisation bénéficiera?
The functions to be performed by the volunteer are core to our mission, but we do not have the funding hire someone to carry out this work. The volunteer will play a key role in helping us reach our goals or more protected land and water in the Ottawa Valley region of Ontario and Quebec!
