Description

Spring is upon us and summer is around the corner! Let's make the most of it!

Do you enjoy being active in the outdoors and participating in sports and recreation activities? Do you have a love for fishing, hiking, running, exploring nature, working out or playing on local sports teams?

If you are willing to impart your experience and knowledge and you enjoy working with youth and helping them to explore their interests, this is the initiative for you!

Looking to connect a prospective mentor with a youth to learn more about roles in recreation, sports, outdoor adventures and possibly explore other opportunities in this area of interest.

Student Links is an initiative that offers High School students who have an intellectual disability an opportunity to expand on current interests and hobbies, while discovering new possibilities for life after High School.

Your Role as a Mentor:
- Presenting information about your field of expertise
- Introducing a student to your hobby or industry
- Providing an opportunity for hands-on experience
- Participating in rec or sports programs together

This is an opportunity for you to help a student by sharing something you're passionate about.

Time commitments are flexible.
