Description

Are you passionate about the digital age? Love working with computers or in tech? Do you create websites, work in UX/UI, code or program? Is graphic design and animation a passion of yours? Are you interested in shaping the next generation of computer, tech and design experts?

Looking to connect a prospective mentor with a youth to learn more about roles in tech, computer coding and programming, animation and graphic design, website building and possibly explore other opportunities in this area of interest.

If you are willing to impart your experience and knowledge and you enjoy working with youth and helping them to explore their interests, this is the initiative for you!
If you are employed, study, or have a hobby in any of these fields and would be willing to volunteer some time to teach a youth your skills while working on a project together, we want to hear from you!

Student Links is an initiative that offers High School students who have an intellectual disability an opportunity to expand on current interests and hobbies, while discovering new possibilities for life after High School.

Your Role as a Mentor:
 Presenting information about your field of expertise
 Introducing a student to your hobby or industry
 Providing an opportunity for hands-on experience
 Working on a cool tech project together

This is an opportunity for you to help a student by sharing something you’re passionate about.

Time commitments are flexible.
