Nature Canada is a national charitable organization based in Ottawa. We are the lead partner in the Canadian Nature Network, which is a family of more than 340 naturalist organizations from coast to coast. Through our conservation work, outreach and education programs, we connect people to nature and work to protect and conserve Canada\'s birds, endangered species and parks and protected areas. Currently more than 40,000 people support our efforts to be an effective voice for nature in Canada. We are a Canadian co-partner of BirdLife International alongside Bird Studies Canada. As part of this global family of bird and nature conservation organizations we oversee a network of 600 Important Bird Areas (IBAs) nationwide - representing the most important sites for birds and their conservation.

The volunteer will be detail oriented, preferably have some Microsoft Excel experience or Engaging Networks experience, and have an interest in learning about the protection and conservation of Nature. The position entails computer entry, database creation, and organizational outreach to help grow the Nature Network.
