A Canada-wide, volunteer based literacy organization. We teach people to read and write and nurture a positive environment that promotes lifelong learning. In the Ottawa area we have literacy programs for children, youth and adults in Ottawa East, West, and down-town core. These locations include Libraries, Public Schools, and Community-based Shelters.

Are you a Student, Retiree, or Professional looking for a meaningful and fun volunteer opportunity? Frontier College needs both French and English speaking volunteers to support children at Ottawa Public Library in Cumberland. Training is provided. You do not need teaching experience and a Police Check is completed free of charge. References will also be provided upon request.
