Volunteer Opportunities

Confederation Court Community House is a local not-for-profit who offers programs such as ESL classes for women only.

We are looking for compassionate, energetic and patient people who like a challenge, to volunteer for our two ESL classes. Volunteers will be expected to assist the teacher when requested during class and to help the women with their work.

Shifts available are either Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-12:00pm or Monday-Thursday from 12:30pm-3:00pm. Looking for female volunteers only as it is a women's only class

We are looking for an energetic, compassionate, and patient person who would like to volunteer at our Community Food Bank. Volunteers will be responsible for distributing food, serving clients, data entry and general clean up of the Food Bank area. Shifts will be Fridays 8.45 am-12.00 noon (minimum of once a month). If you would like to give back to your community while getting to meet some great people this is the volunteer opportunity for you!

Confederation Court Community House is a local not-for-profit who offers programs such as homework club to the children in the surrounding low income neighborhood.

We are looking for compassionate, energetic and patient people who like a challenge, to volunteer for our homework club. Hours are Monday-Thursday 3.30-5.30 (minimum of once a week required). Duties will include, helping children with homework, playing educational games with children, helping staff maintain behavior and light clean up duties.

This is a fun and rewarding way to give back to the community while getting needed volunteer hours.
